Beef Questions:

  1. How old is the animal? 

All our premium beef is from beef less than 16 months old.

  1. Where was it raised?

All our beef are born, raised and finished on our farm.

  1. What was it fed?

Hay, whole oats, steam rolled barley, beet pulp and some straw.

  1. Is it hormone free?

We do not use any hormones on our beef but it is not organic.  We still vaccinate all animals against disease.

  1. How long is it aged?

Most beef is aged 7 – 10 days on its way to the store.  Some is wet aged in vacuumed packed bags.  Our beef is dry aged for 21 days resulting in a very tender delicious eating experience.

  1. How long before delivery?

Our beef is available mid May to mid June.

  1. Where do we delivery?

Vancouver, Kelowna, Edmonton and Calgary.

  1. How many pounds of boneless beef?

All our beef is completely boneless and an eighth is approximate 45 – 50 pounds.  Each eighth contains approximate:

  1. How much space does it take?

It will fit in your fridge freezer but not a lot of room for bread and ice cream.
